Microwave amplifier

Microwave amplifier

Ranging from about 1GHz and usually up to 300GHz. Single units or circuits in equipment. Applications include received microwave signals that need to be amplified or other distributive or transmitting aplications that need to be amplified.
Primarily used by mobile phones at lower bands, the internet broadband, GPS, communications links, microwave ovens and radar. Also used by ham radio amateurs.
When radio is used at microwave frequencies, the cable losses may become so high so that a microwave amplifier should be put as near the antenna as possible.
